LOCATION
The Tryouts on Wednesday, May 13th and Friday, May 15th will be held on the grass field at the Blue Ridge School. There is a gravel parking lot next to the field where we will ask everyone to park. Upon arrival, please proceed to the registration area and check-in station. We will have signage to help guide you.
REGISTRATION
- All Travel program candidates should pre-register in their family account before attending a tryout. This allows the coaching staff to know who and how many to expect at each session.
- If you need to create a family account, click the LOGIN & REGISTER button and follow instructions to enter contact and player specific information. **If you already have an account with another VSA club such as SOCA, you will not need to make a new one. Your Username and Password remain the same.
- Once logged in, you can make sure you are seeing eligible Greene FC programs for registration by following the EDIT link in the ACCOUNT HOME section. Make sure the region is set to RUCKERSVILLE/STANARDSVILLE/GREENE COUNTY.
- Each family account can serve all players in the family. In order to register for a program, registration is done on a per player basis. You may register multiple players at the same time and submit payments for all players simultaneously.
- All available programs that are age appropriate for your player will appear next to their name in your ACCOUNT HOME. Check the box next to the desired program or programs that your player/s would like to participate in and then click the REGISTER button.
- This will take you to the payment page where registration can be completed.
RESULTS
Following the upcoming tryout period, our coaching staff will convene to carefully evaluate player assessments and begin the process of forming teams for the Fall season. We understand the anticipation surrounding team placements and aim to communicate your player’s status by early June. To ensure efficient team organization and planning, we kindly request that all parents be prepared to confirm their commitment to the team by the registration deadline (exact date is to be determined currently). Your timely response will greatly assist us in finalizing team rosters and preparing for a successful Fall season.
